Match Day 4 Wrap up Azam Premier League 2017/18

After a three months break and tuff preparation, the Azam Uganda Premier League 2017/ 2018 season is back. Unlike the previous ones, this might be a tough one!!! The opening games saw almost 10 clubs out of 16 sharing a point and the new comers (Maroons FC, Mbarara City FC and Masavu FC) shocking the past League giants.
This is how it happened at different stadiums:

– Bright Stars 0 – 0 SC Vipers: A man down Bright Stars for almost over 75 minutes frustrated star-studded Kitende based SC Vipers at Mwererwe with a barren draw.

Onduparaka 0-0 Proline FC: The loud ‘caterpillars’ shared a point with Proline FC at Betway Green Light Stadium, Arua.

KCCA FC 0-0 Maroons FC: New comers, Maroons, put up a great performance at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo cancelling all efforts that would have seen the defending champions earning the 3 points till the final blow of the whistle to end the battle goalless.

SC Villa 1-0 Soana: The only Goal scored on the first day of the league from five games was for the Jogoos as they claiming 3 points to top the league table from tricky Soana FC at Masaka Recreation Grounds.

BUL 0-0 Mbarara City: Another new comer (Mbarara City) pulled out all his effort to at least start with a point in the stiffly competed for league title race Masavu Vs Police wasn’t played after the home team missing licences
