30 crews confirmed for KNRC Guru Nanak Rally

Over 30 drivers have so far confirmed for the fifth event of the Kenya National Rally Championship (KNRC) Guru Nanak Rally in Naivasha that is resuming this sunday 1st October 2017 after a three months break.

Naivasha is expected to become a race battle ground, crews fighting for the first position in a 158km six staged rally since is is only twelve points separating the top five crews in the championship.

Current leader Ian Duncan stands at 72 points; only four points ahead of closely chasing Pearl of Africa 2017 champion, Manvir Baryan. Tapio Laukannen is seated third with 63 points, Carl Tundo forth with 60 points and Karan Patel fifth with 59 points.

Multiple Rally Team crews remain favourites. Baryan won the season opener in Mombasa and the Fly540 Rally while Laukkanen topped in the Safari and Eldoret rallies.
