Match Day 1 Wrap up Azam Premier League 2017/18

It has been the forth round of Azam Uganda Premier League, seeing almost all teams playing their forth match of the Azam Uganda Premier League 2017/ 18. This is how it happened on different stadiums.

Vipers FC are now leading the table with 10 points after a spirited 2-0 away victory to Masavu at the Fisheries Training Institute play ground in Bugonga, Entebbe.

Despite SC Villa bagging 3 points against Mbarara City FC, the blues are now seated in the 7th position of the table instead of the 5th after the deduction of 2 points by FUFA disciplinary comittee due to the indiscipline conduct shown by the Jogoo fans in the match that they lost 1 – 0 to the current table leaders, Vipers FC at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

Bul put their shaky start to the season behind them to deservedly pick up their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over visiting side UPDF on Wednesday at Kakindu Stadium, Jinjam to claim the 8th position wheras dragging UPDF side down to the 13th Position.

The Tax collectors, URA FC, and defending champions, KCCA, missed a chance to close in on early log leaders Vipers as they drew goalless at Mandela National stadium, Namboole. The Kasasiro boys move to 6 points, four adrift of Vipers after winning just once in four games to sit firmly in the 5th position while URA lies 10th on the table with five points.

Dangerman Leku netted a late loner to award 3 points to the ‘caterpillars’ alias Onduparaka FC over

Express FC claimed their first win of the season with a 2 – 0 victory over Maroons FC to move to four points and rise from the bottom of the log to 11th on the table. Asaph Mwebaza’s Maroons remain at the bottom of the log with just two points.
