Airtel Masaza Cup 2018: Day 1 Results & Day 2 Fixture

The 2018 Airtel Masaza Cup returned over the weekend with a total of eight games being played including the official opener that was  officially kicked off by the King of Buganda, His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

Gomba triumphed in the opening macth of the much anticipated annual local football tournament with a 1 – 0 victory over Buweekula by  a goal scored by team captain Nicholas Kabonge at Kabulasoke Core PTC playground.

This is how the other games happened.

  • Gomba 1 – Buweekula – PTC Grounds, Kabulasoke
  • Kabula 1 – 2 Kyadondo – Bukulula
  • Buddu 2 – 1 Bulemezi – Masaka Recreational Stadium
  • Ssese 1 – 1 Kooki – Lutoboka
  • Kyaggwe 2 – 1 Butambala – Mukono Bishops Play Ground
  • Bugerere 0 – 0 Singo – Kayunga Ssaza Ground
  • Buvuma 0 – 2 Busiro – Magyo play ground
  • Busujju 3 – 1 Buluuli – Kimuli play ground, Mityana
