Al Masry frozen by KCCA FC’s 94th minute Goal

Derrick Nsibambi’s 94th minute wonder strike secured a 1 – 0 home advantage victory for KCCA FC against Egyptian side Al Masry in the first leg of the qualification round to the Total CAF confederations Cup group stages.

It was a great game to Coach Mike Mutebi’s boys in the first half of game play, home team players looked class and each active in respective playing position that saw them dominate the first 45 minutes of the match in terms of ball possession, the number of shots and corners though it ended 0 – 0.

Things didn’t change much in the second half, KCCA FC continued with its domination.

After 90 minutes of play, the game was still in a goalless draw but the hosts’ intense pressure that they had put onto Al Masry’s defence saw them loose a ball in transit in the last added minute of the game that KCCA FC’s day savior Derrick Nsibambi took advantage of to secure 3 points for the club.
