Allan Okello Joins the Venoms at Last.

Former KCCA FC graduate Allan Okello has officially inked a three-year deal with reigning champions based in Kitende, popularly known as Vipers SC.

Born on July 4th, 2000, Okello, aged 23, will wear the venoms shirt number eight (8) this season. The talented youngster will add flair to the midfield, alongside players such as Bright Anukani, Karim Abdul Watambala, and Siraje Ssentamu, among others.

In 2020, Okello made a move to an Algerian club, Paradou, on a four-year contract, where he made appearances for the club. However, he made a return to KCCA last season on a one-year contract with the Kasasiro boys.

During his time at ‘Lugogo,’ the skillful left attacking midfielder managed to find the back of the net five times and provided eight assists, contributing to the club’s second-place finish in the Uganda Premier League last season.

Under the guidance of Coach Mike Mutebi at KCCA in 2017, Okello made a mark in the Ugandan football arena. On his debut, at just 16 years old, he scored his first hat-trick against Onduparaka FC.

He continued to play entertaining football and was named the best male player of the year 2019. Okello has made an impressive 119 appearances for KCCA, scoring 39 times.

On a winning streak, Allan Okello clinched the Uganda Cup twice with KCCA in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 campaigns. He extended his winning spell by adding the Uganda Super 8 in 2018 and the CECAFA Kagame Cup 2018/19 with KCCA.

Vipers made a significant acquisition with their new signing, Okello, who possesses all the attributes of a playmaker, creating lethal passes and penetrating into the opponent’s final third with his skilled left foot.

He joins new players in the club, including Mohamed Salem Ekbad from Mauritania national, Patrick Mbowa, David Bagoole, Grant Matsiko, Richard Matovu, and others.
