Despite SC Vipers consecutive victories against Soana, KCCA and URA they couldn’t break down Brightstars solid defence at Champions stadium, Mwererwe till the last minute when the referee blown the final whistle to end the game goalless. Kitende boys still remain third with 46 points.

In another game hosted by ‘the tax collectors’, URA at Mehta Stadium in Lugazi, struggling Kirinya Jinja’s Livingston Mulondo cancelled Feni Ali’s fourth minute goal to secure a vital point for his relegation threatened Club. Mehta Stadium declaring the host’s four games win-less run in the league.
KCCA FC defeated JMC Hippos to keep the league title hopes in sight after shaking off a tough resistance from the hosts at Jinja edging closer to their 12th Azam Uganda Premier League title.
