3rd June 2018 not only saw millions celebrating the Uganda Martyrs but also hundreds of Bakigas in Kampala celebrating their culture in the ‘Rukundo Egumeho’ themed Bakiga Nation.
However, this years’ celebrations came in with another concept of fashion and beauty as a number of hot and soupy babes rocked in different attires while enjoying the Enturire and ebitakuri at Nagulu Hill top Gardens.
Beauties of different skin complexions, types and sizes clad in different sorts of attires, from shorts to off shoulder tops and dresses, one could tell that this was not an ordinary cultural event but rather fashion day out.
Non-Bakiga Men Gracing the Event
These soupy babes brought in an advantage to the attendance of the event as men of different tribes kept on flocking the grounds in the name of being Bakiga only to keep their eyes off the elegant ladies.
Just like the Blankets and Wine, an event that is characterized with class, slay queens, good music and vibes, the Bakiga Nation just looked like an event to always remember.
Regions for the Bakiga
The Bakiga occupy districts of Kabale, Kisoro Kanungu and Rukungiri. However, due to overpopulation, they have been migrating to other parts of Uganda especially to Kabarole, Kasese, Hoima, Mubende, Mbarara among others. They have also settled in Masaka, Rakai and Kampala districts.
