Bakiga Night: Kiga Cultural Heritage Celebration is on at Hilltop Gardens, Naguru

After celebrating the Uganda Martyrs day at Namugongo shrines this sunday, go celebrate the Kiga Cultural heritage during the Bakiga night at the Nagulu Hilltop gardens.

The Bakiga Nation presents the fifth edition of the Kiga culture themed night under the theme, “Rukundo Egumeho”. It is a picnic featuring a number of performances from different artists, so get there in the afternoon.

According to the team leader fo the Bakiga Nation, Owen Bigombe, the event is not only just about having fun, but is also a platform to raise funds to support different charity initiatives.

“We will also use this year’s event to raise funds to support a school project in Rukungiri district.” The Organizers revealed.

There will be lots to be served including the Enturire and ebitakuri. In case you don’t know these items, just go and find out. To add more spices to the event, the Bakiga have also invited Batoro to celebrate with them.

The Bakiga Night fifth edition is sponsored by Pepsi and Bell Lager and entrance is free of charge. So be there..
