Rema Namakula’s Banyabo Concert a Success in all the 3 Venues

Dimpled singer Rema Namakula had a very busy but a happy weekend after registering success in all th three venues where she had staged her Banyabo Concert.

On Friday 9th March, thousands turned up to support her at Serena Hotel Kampala where she had organised the main gig. This also saw performances from Singers like Eddy Kenzo, Ykee Benda, Mariam Ndagire, and many others.

The following day, Rema took the Banyabo Concert to Mukono where she Sent revelers squealing in delight the whole night. She wrapped up her concerts at Freedom City Mall yesterday 11th March 2018, with an outstanding performance that ws graced by many. From all the venues, the fans enjoyed to the fullest.

Flash Back at Rema’s Music Journey

Rema’s first main effort at success in the music industry came way back in 2002 when she sang backup vocals in Bebe Cool and Halima Namakula’s ‘Sambagala’ duet. From 2002, Kenzo’s Bay mama remained silent musically till 2009, after completing her A-Level studies when she featured the Gagamel Boss, Bebe Cool on ‘Cease & Seckle’ song that became a hit.

Since then, she has registered great success with hit songs like Lean on me, Linda featuring Chris Evans, Atuuse, Fire Tonight, Akaliro, Sitaki, Mucuuzi, akatonono, kaliba among others not forgetting the megaone, Banyabo. From these songs, she has managed to bag accolades including Hipipo Music Awards and Galaxy FM’s Zzina Awards for her outstanding work.
