Brian Umony to be back on pitch soon

He has started with light training

Uganda Cranes striker Brian Umony who ended 2016 with pain due to breaking a leg that made him miss major tournaments like AFCON 17, 2017 might be a hammiest year for him in life as he is to be back on pitch soon. Umony broke his right leg while playing for st George FC against Abramach FC in the Ethiopian Premier League match.

He has resumed light training as a bid to catch-up with his teammates through jogging and gym work and claims he will be in top shape soon.

“Missing AFCON made me strong and shook off the shock. Thankfully, I have not gained a lot of weight, so what I have on my plate is chewable. I will be able to get back on the pitch preferably”  he said.
