As the world is evolving day by day, women’s roles keep on changing with many taking over jobs that were meant to be for men in the past like participating in big politics posts, taxi driving, construction engineers among others. However, I and many out there had never dreamt of a seeing an educated female to a campus level laying bricks.
Sharon Mbabazi is a Muteesa Royal University student who is proud of the job she does after taking lectures, Brick Laying. Brick laying in Uganda is one of the most under looked source of income mostly in youths, many taking it as the last resort, but Mbabazi seems to no care no matter dem say.
She is a third year student pursuing a bachelors in Mass Communication.
Unlike many youthful and high school going girls within Sharon’s age, she does not mind getting dirty. Sharon always believes that her hustle at one time will bear fruits. She says what she does is much more safer than the many Campus girls that make money off their bodies. No risks, is what makes her like her job even much more.
