Kalema Lawrence
Allan Okello is a sensational Ugandan young talent and with no doubt, the most skilled and talented young footballer at the moment.
He was born about 17 years back and bred in Lira at Destiny Soccer where he also featured in the Academy Northern Region in the U-17 Airtel Rising Stars football program before crossing over to Kibuli S.S. from where KCCA FC’s keen eyes spotted him for the management to recruit him to the Junior U-17 team before graduating to the senior team last year 2016.
On his debut at KCCA FC senior team, he scored a hat-trick in the 7 – 0 fall of Onduparaka Caterpillars at Phillip Omondi stadium. That season (2016/ 17) registered only two hat tricks.
At only 16 years, he played in CAF Champions League he put up an impressive performance in the last groups qualifying match against defending champions Mamelodi Sun down.
To his name, the left footed creative midfielder has won domestic trophies including league and Uganda Cup.
Okello has previously played for the Northern Region in the U-17 Airtel Rising Stars football program.
