On her birth certificate, Nina Rose is Nina Kankunda aged 23, a singer, songer writer and former model in addition to being a very social, friendly and caring person who loves and respects everyone in their capacity.
She is a single born daughter to Lucy Mbabazi and Hajji Gitta Salongo in kibuli, Mutajazi-Kampala has other siblings.
She went to St Stephens COU primary school, Kakungulu S.S, after which she joined Trinity College Nabbingo for high school and International University of East Africa where she pursued a Bachelor’s of Business Administration though dropped out in her second year due to unavoidable circumstances hence concentrating on music this year.
On her career as a musician, she did not know she was an artist at first as she had never discovered it in her as she was much onto modelling but not on a professional basis before Jeff Kiwanuka, the manager for Team No Sleep (TNS) called her to try out some songs he had written.

According to Nina, her best moment so far is Winning her first award a few weeks back at The Uganda Music Awards as the best famous person and the worst is when she lost most of her friends that would have been there for her in the music journey.
