Kalema Lawrence
Martin Nkoyoyo well known by stage name ‘YOYO’, is a Ugandan musician who was born on 17th December and the 8th born in their family. His father is called Martin Tabajwa Nkoyoyo.
Though most people think he is Bishop Nkoyoyo’s son, Martin says the Retired Archbishop is his uncle.
He went to Central Nursery school in Lugazi, then Lugazi East primary School. For O’level, he went to St. M. Kalemba SS and later joined St Balikuddembe SS for A’level from where he was admitted at Makerere University for Bachelor of Arts in Art.
Yoyo said he grew up in a humble religious family where he learnt how to hustle from infancy. As an RnB artist, Yoyo has so far released three albums from which he says he has been able to claim some plots of land, made lots of new friends and fulfillment of his passion.
