Singer Fresh Kid’s manager Francis and Father Paul Mutabaazi have signed an agreement aimed at promoting the boy’s musical talent while he remains in school.
A number of things were agreed upon in the agreement that was drafted by Onyango & Company Advocates such as the time he is supposed to perform, responsibility on his welfare, studies among others.
However, the major highlight of the agreement to soem of the fans was how the youngster’s income will be shared. The father and the manager will be taking equal share while the mother of the 8-year old will also earn something from her son’s sweats.
In the agreement, a bank account will be opened in Fresh Kid’s names where 20% of all income will be deposited. He will only be allowed to access it when he is 18 years. Another 20% will go to the father for his maintenance, another 20% to the manager as his salary, then 30% for management and administration and; the remaining 10% will go to Fresh Kid’s mother.
Meanwhile, Fresh Kid has also received an offer to promote his music online by a South African company called Ditto Records. But the deal is yet to be reduced into an agreement also very soon.
