Youngster rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo a.k.a Fresh Kid is set to his first ever performance outside Uganda next month. He will be performing in Dubai on July 7th but his hopes of performing beyond the borders might face a major blow as the father, Paul Mutabaazi has still insisted on travelling with him.
Mr Mutabaazi says that if he isn’t flying with his son, then the show should be cancelled.
“If the show promoter cannot work on three air tickets then they better forget about that show. We will get another deal,” Fresh Kid’s father, Paul Mutabazi earlier vowed, noting that the earlier signed agreement between him and the manager clearly stipulates that he has to travel with his son.
This follows the show promoter’s first announcements that he is only willing to work on two air tickets; for the singer and his manager known as Francis.
He revealed that the people who have already purchased tickets do not want to see the rapper’s father at the show, adding on that he is ready to cancel the show if Mutabaazi insists on showing up at his son’s concert.
This has left the 8-year-old rapper’s mother Madrine Namata devastated, and she has now turned to well wishers intervene into the matters, to advise Mutabaazi change his minds for the better of their son’s future.
“I am just advising him to leave the child’s future alone. So that he (Fresh Kid) can travel with his manager and perform in Dubai before his show is suspended, ” She cried out.
