Edirisa Mussuza aka Eddy Kenzo has lost hope of returning back to his homeland, Uganda from ivory coast where he is currently trapped after seeing flights bring people from other countries back home leaving him behind.

This comes due to a petition raised in Parliament last month by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sam Kutesa that Ugandans stranded abroad due to Corona Virus are to be allowed by government to return to the country in a phased manner.

According to Ug Hype, a local entertainment news website in Uganda; This followed Sam Kutesa addressing the parliament about the first batch of Ugandans from various countries that returned to Ugandan and currently undergoing quarantine in several isolation centers gazetted by government. Ugandans from turkey were flown in on Monday, Nationals in Sudan came on Tuesday and several others from Belgium and Netherlands that same day.

The Minister of State for Current Affairs, Henry Okello Oryem added that 200 Ugandans would return from United Arab Emirates and 70 others are expected to be flown into the country from South Africa.

Eddy kenzo, a Ugandan music artist who had gone for a show in Ivory Coast got caught up by the closure of borders and international transport routes and he has been held there for about three months now. Kenzo has no hope for returning to Uganda thinking the responsible authority bringing people back home might have forgotten about him.
