Just after kawowo sports’ Joel Isabirye broke the news of severely injured Express FC defender Vincent Onyebuchi’s broken leg being in a sorry state, the chairperson of the club Nakiwala Kiyingi came out to defend her club as she bragged that Express FC committee had done its part and not willing to contribute any more.
This attracted severe criticism from the public given that Vincent’s leg was in a state of rotting and ever since, the minister has been in off the comments grid towards the player’s situation.
However, Nakiwala has changed the heart as she recently paid a visit to the injured player and agreed to join the fundraising train for the Nigerian young star. Nakiwala accorded VIP treatment to Onyebuchi at Mulago Hospital where he will be receiving treatment from.
About Shs 30 millions is needed to fund the operation and recovery process at Kisubi based CORSU where the former Express FC player is set to undergo several operations to the broken leg.
