Africa’s best player 2016 and Uganda best shot stopper Denis Onyango playing for a South African based football club Mamelodi Sundowns has signed a four-year contract extension deal that will see him remain at the Club till 2021.
The aging South African Premier League champions’ goal keeper, announced through media last month that he might drop the flags of keeping Uganda Cranes goal after failing to help his national team qualify through the group stages of AFCON 2017.
The only goalkeeper, and the first Ugandan to bag CAF best player award, Onyango, missed Crane’s last group Match against Mali because of an injury he had gotten earlier in the previous matches.
