The recently concluded Miss Uganda Grand finale at Sheraton Hotel Kampala saw a one miss Uganda contestant Ms Santina Anshemeza being initially crowned as Miss MTN Pulse.
However after a few minutes later, she was dethroned of the title following an error in the tabulation of the results revealed by Sylvia Alhibai, one of the organizers. The award was later given to Bronnie Divine Kusiima, an eighteen year old pursuing a nursing degree.
Meanwhile, we have learnt that Santina has been rewarded with a paid internship at Project Africa in a bid to avoid embarrassment after tasting victory for such a short stint where she missed Shs2m worth of prize money, a trip to the 2019 UNAA Convention and other fancy gifts.
This was announced during the Prize giving ceremony that happened at Kampala Sheraton Hotel earlier this week.
