Seemingly the past week has been Eddy Kenzo’s worst ever since his rise to fame. The singer has been hugely involved in a slanging match with Sheikh Muzaata who is reportedly to have mortified him during his (Muzaata’s) speech at Rema’s kukyala.
Many people, particularly team Muzaata, have rushed to Kenzo claiming that the sitamina singer is just depressed because his ex-wife, Rema Namakula, had ditched him and moved on with another man in names of Dr Hamza Sebunya. However Eddy Kenzo has refuted all these assumptions saying that he is just fighting for his dignity and there is nothing related with a depression because Rema was taken by another man as many people aver.
At a greater distance, Kenzo added by saying that Ugandans who always mock them in these difficult moments are the ones killing them as they feel mistreated and abandoned and as an end-result they die of depression. He gave examples of the Late Ivan Ssemwanga whom people mocked after Diamond Platinumz took his wife, Zari, and kissed her feet thus fans attacking Ivan that he didn’t know love as he was disparaged by Diamond.
Among the other examples he gave included; the Late Mowzey Radio who he thinks died of depression according to the Late’s recent acts before breathing his last, and then lastly his music companion, Weasel, who is also in the same state as fans mock him that he contributed less as compared to his deceased counter colleague and that he is not talented at all but was just lucky to work with the talented lad.
Finally Eddy Kenzo begged all Ugandans to stop mocking them especially during the times of hardship and instead give them support if Uganda is to go far where other countries like Nigeria and Tanzania have reached, musically.
