Singer Eddy Kenzo Misses London Performance in Wembley Stadium

About two months back, we notified you about how the Nickelodeon kids favorite African Star, Eddy Kenzo is set to entertain London people on the 2nd of June this year (Today) in an annual show dubbed ‘One Africa Festival’ at the England’s biggest Athletics stadium, Wembley.

However, all we hear from him is not good news to his fans as he has unfortunately missed his performance on yet another world stage in London.

It has been said that Eddy kenzo’s expectations have been cut short by a terrible malaria that attacked him. He posted on his Facebook;

It is with deepest regret that we must announce the unfortunate failure of Eddy Kenzo’s performance at that One Africa Music Fest. This email therefore serves to inform you that due to Eddy Kenzo’s sudden illness, and by the doctor’s advice, he isn’t able to travel to London in time for the show,“.

He however said that he remains committed to the One Africa Music Fest organizers and community to which Kenzo and his management will offer assistance and support for the upcoming events in NewYork and Dubai.

We therefore humbly request the Ugandan flag to still be raised despite our absence. Again, we are deeply sorry about not being able to commit to our initial agreement and any unfulfilled expectations that this may cause due to force majue, Weh hope to see you in NewYork and Dubai,” He concluded.

It now means that Singer Jose Chameleone is the only remaining Ugandan performer on the list that includes fellow African stars like Mr Flavour, Skales, Sarkodie, 2Face, Tekno, Diamond Platnumz, Kiss Daniel and Cassper Nyovest with Nigeria’s singer Banky W being the host of this year’s edition.
