Earlier this week, singer and politician Kyagulanyi Sentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine under his pressure group ‘People Power’ joined the support to the National Task Force in the fight against the deadly COVOD-19 disease that has turned the world upside down not only health wise but also economically.
He contribited 50 bags of maize flour, 30 cartons of salt and a mumber of boxes of soap among others. This was welcomed by many including his top music rival, Moses Sali a.k.a Bebe Cool.
According to the Gagamel International CEO, Bobi Wine and People Power at Large showed concern about the ongoing situation and a good heart towards the nation.
“I thank Bobi Wine and his Power Power movement for contributing generously towards the National Task Force in these hard times of fighting the deadly Corona-virus pandemic.” – He said.
However, as expected, he thinks that what they contributed wasn’t enough and feels like they need to add more since he believes they have the capacity.
“… I feel they need to add more because they have the capacity to supply more than what they gave to the Task Force. They are a powerful group with much potential that what they exhibited.” He added.
Bebe Cool furthermore thanked other companies and organizations like the Buganda Kingdom that have also offered foodstuff and other materials in the battle to kick out the SARS-COzV-2 pandemic.
