Express FC Claim their 1st AUPL 2017/18 victory

The Red Eagles started the 2017/18 Azam Uganda Premier League campaign with a very shaky start after loosing almost all their first team players to rival clubs, but now, has hinted on the come back after claiming the first win of the season, over Maroon FC.

Daniel Mzee Sserunkuma first goal for the club came in just 13 minutes of the game play, when he received a ball a few yards into the opponents half and his ambitious shot found goalie Emmanuel Akol off his line.

Just minutes to the end of the clash, Ndihabwe doubled the lead with a headed effort off Ronnie Kisekka cross from the left to send the Red Eagles fans into frenzy.

The 6 time champions now move to four points to earn them a seat in the 11th position on the table and maroons in the relegation positions with 2 points and still no win so far.
