Express FC Thumps Rivals Villa 1 – 0 at Wankulukuku

Self proclaimed fans’ favorite home foot club, Express FC, has successfully registered a sixth win in a row in the Azam Uganda Premier League title race, today at Wankuluku Mutesa 1 Royal stadium by 1 – 0 victory over major rivals SC Villa.
The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw though later the goal that saw the Red Eagles bag all the three points was scored by Allan Kyambadde in the 62nd minute of the game.

The poor prformance for Jogoo players like Vitalis Tabu and Kasumba who missed lots of chances in several one on one moments with Express FC goal keeper Opio, missing key striker Emmanuel Okwi plus the hard work of the hosts helped a lot in deciding for the game.

SC Villa remains top of the log with 47 points after 24 games, but have now played three games more than KCCA while Express are now on 36 points in 6th.
