Kiberu Bashir populary known as DJ Shiru is ranked as Uganda’s finest spinning master by most pary animals around Kampala and is some times refered to as the 256 spin doctor. He started his career at the age of 17 following his brother, a famous Dj Rota in Kampala and he was one of the first Disc Jockeys to play music for international artists in Uganda.

Shiru was mostly known across the East African region where he spins music from top night spots in towns of Nairobi, Kampala, Kigali and more top Cities but if you rememer the ‘Single Ladies’ hit with a faster tune and dancehall beats by Beyonce Knowles, Shiru was the knowledge behind those tunes.
This even gave him a moment to share a stage with the American Star spinning live the beats that the world is still dancing to.

The nonstop talking deejay is one of the sober entertainers in Uganda. He enjoys a cold Red Bull before jumping on the decks.

Shiru reportedly dropped out of school while in primary five to join the entertainment industry through his elder brother, Dj Rota.
