The FUFA Women’s Cup 2018 finally came to an end over the weekend in Sheema district at Kabwohe playgrounds with Uganda Christian University (UCU) Lady Cardinals beating She Corporates by 2 – 0 to win their first ever silverware in the name of Women Football in
UCU’s goals came from the Kenyan born Maureen Kinavudori and former Kawempe Muslim star Hasifah Nasuuna. During the same occasion, individuals that put out extra impressions on and off the the pitch were also rewarded. These included the following.

- Top Scorer: Sharuwa Nakayima from Bugiri Town View (4 goals)
- Best Goalkeeper: Ruth Aturo from UCU Lady Cardinals
- Fair Play: Bugiri Town View ( For getting the least bookings )
UCU Lady Cardinals, the winners walked away with 3M shillings, runners up (She Corporates) with 2m while the semi-finalists (Olila Women and Muteesa Royals) 1m each.
Olila Women FC from Soroti district have been the holders of the title that they won during the inaugural edition last year, 2017 after defeating Gafford Ladies in the final played at Madibira ground in Busia.
