The Female Version of Uganda Cup, FUFA Women’s Cup has reached it’s quarter Final Stages and each team that progressed to the 8 teams level has learnt its fate after the quarterfinal draw held on Wednesday at FUFA House in Mengo. This Sunday of 13th May 2018 will see the first Legs of the third edition of the knockout tournament as teams fight for their rights of being called the year’s champions.
Eastern Regional side Bugiri Town View will have to travel to Soroti to face the defending champions, Olila High School that edged She Mak (Makerere) in the round of 16. Bugiri ejected Light SS.
The all-time Women Elite League back to back champions, Kawempe Muslim will entertain She Corporate at home grounds (Valley grounds) as UCU Lady Cardinals that narowly failed to qualify to the League playoffs will be hosting Western United.
Kawempe eliminated Kampala Queens to progress to this level while UCU Lady Cardinals got past last year’s runners up.
In the other battle, Uganda Martyrs will be taking on on Muteesa I Royal University. Muteesa and Western United eliminated Doves Ladies and Ajax Queens respectively.
