Gravity attacks KCCA MD Musisi at Diamond’s show, Survives Arrest!

Luga flow rapper, Gravty Omutujju is not happy with the organisers of the Kampala City Carnival, the Kampala City Council Authority over hiring Tanzania’s bongo flava singer and dancer, Diamond Platinumz as the main act on the 6th edition of City Carnival at a costly fee rather than the local artistes that would have lined up to the event a quite lower payment.

According to allegations, Zari Hassan’s baby dad of two pocketed 40,000 USD (approximately 150M UGX) for a 2-hour performance yesterday, a word that failed to go cool with a number of local performers including Dj Shiru, Irene Ntale, Winnie Nwagi, Gravity, Sheeba, B2C, Cindy, Geosteady and Ykee Benda who all shared a portion of 20M amongst themselves.

After his performance at the show at Kololo, Gravity escalated the situation when he attacked the authority, mostly MD jennifer Musisi for not valuing him together with his fellow comrades in the industry. When Dj Shiru cut short of his songs in the interest of time, Gravity started throwing insults saying that he has to sing for Ugandans, not Tanzanians in a bid to attack Diamond. This sent the crowd into a loud cheer giving him energy to spit more fire that went like;

“Jennifer paid that Tanzania Guy a lot of money to come and perform here yet we are taking peanuts in own country this is Uganda and not Tanzania”
Before performing his ‘winner’ song that left everyone off their feet and bragging about having filled Lugogo cricket Oval recently yet KCCA can’t fill up Kololo Airstrip with their international act while he was leaving the stage.

This is when security personells attempted to arrest him back stage, threatening him that he will never again stage a show in Kampala not even to perform in any other concert in town. He  narrowly escaped with the help of his back stage fans and bouncers.
