Great Come Back as KCCA FC Whips Club Africain 2 – 1

It was the first home match and second game for KCCA FC in the group stages of TOTAL CAF Confedration cup 2017. Indeed the Ugandan side really wanted the 3 points from this clash to bring back the hopes of progressing to the quarter final since the club lost the first game 3 – 0 in Morocco against FUS Rabat.

Despite the visitors scoring first, KCCA FC recovered from a goal down to edge Tunisian side, Club Africain 2-1 at the Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo in Kampala yesterday, Tuesday 23 May 2017 with an equaliser from Derrick Nsibambi on the stroke of halftime and Tom Masiko scoring the decider.

However, all clubs in this group have 3 points as each team has won 1 game and as well lost 1 squaring the group. FUS Raba has lost to Nigeria’s Rivers United.
