How it happened at 2017 Kampala Capital City Carnival

By 10:00 am on Sunday, 8th October 2017, thousands Ugandans had already converged at the Kampala Central Business District (CBD) wher corporate figures, members of the armed forces, health practitioners and common partiers were roaming on several streets to witness the conclusion of the long been awaited 3 days Kampala City Carnival.

Several traders with various merchandise graced the event as thousands of partiers, clad in different outfits enjoyed festivities at the carnival while supporting them by consuming their products.

Security was provided by the Uganda Police and it was for real very tight. Almost every street corner had cops stationed there to maintain law and order, while others were patrolling the city to ensure that partiers enjoy the carnival peacefully. Law breakers as usual were arrested.

As expected, couples warmed up to enjoy themselves without fear or favour to anybody being assured of the free condoms that were given out to any body by KCCA FC officials to enjoy themselves peacefully.

As the evening came, entertainment from different musicians was unfolded on different stages that were strategically positioned.

This is how it happened in photos:
