As the search for Miss Rwanda 2018 still goes on, with auditions taken to different districts, Huye has turned out to attract the biggest turn out so far.
The district witnessed the best public turnout and crowd reaction as the regional search headed to the Southern Province on Saturday as compared to the two previous editions; Musanze and Rubavu in the Northern and Western Provinces respectively.
The search that was staged at the Credo Hotel in Huye town also saw the biggest number of Miss Rwanda hopefuls turn up for the auditions. 30 girls applied for auditions and had their measurements taken before being sieved down to fourteen minutes about to face the judges at around 3:00 pm.
The Judges in Huye District included radio personality Sandrine Isheja, social entrepreneur Gilbert Rwabigwi, and Dr. Jean Pierre Higiro, a university lecturer.
The 10 girls that passed through in the Southern Province are;
Lydia Dushimimana, Vanessa Irakoze, Noriella Ishimwe, Ikirezi Mpore Marie Wivine, Gloria Nzakorerimana, Shanitah Umunyana, Rebecca Umuhire, Lilliane Uwase Ndahiro, Jordan Mushombokazi, and Anastasie Umutoniwase.
