Masaza Cup 2017 First Leg – Quarter final results
Mawokota 0-1 Buddu
Kooki 1-0 Busiro
Singo 1-0 Bugerere
Bulemeezi 0-0 Gomba
The first leg of the Airtel 2017 Masaza Cup was played yesterday where Buddu, Kooki and Singo registered higher chances of advancing to the semi finals of the tournament from the victorious reslults that were attained.
Defending champions, Buddu, bagged three points from an away nail biting clash against Mawokota while Kooki and Singo beat Busiro and Bugerere each 1 – 0 respectively from home grounds and are just a draw away from the semis.
Gomba and Bulemeezi fell at a barren ground with a goalless draw at the Kasana playground in Luweero and this will be looked at as the biggest clash of the second leg when Gomba hosts Bulemeezi in a battle for the forth place in the second last final play offs.
The return legs will be played earlier in August 2017.
