I don’t value Nigerian Collabos — Winnie Nwagi

Almost every week there seems to be an increment on the number of Ugandan artists making collabos with Foreign artists more so Nigerians for reasons of boosting airplay, however according to the ‘Kano kozze’ thick and hefty bottomed hit-maker, Winnie Nwagi (real names Winnie Nakanwagi), this is no a bother to her and not worthy her time and energy.

She said that Ugandan musicians need to be selfish and think of themselves first before looking for collabos else where in the world.

“You see we need to be selfish and think of ourselves first before others…. You can never hear a Ugandan song play in Nigerian, never…. collaborating with Nigerian singers is not worth it because many of them will not push the song in their homeland yet their songs become hits in Uganda” She said.

The mother of one revealed this during an interview with a certain local radio station after being asked about her view on the save music campaign, a movement by musicians demanding 90% of digital and print media exposure.
