Last week, news that former Mr Uganda, body builder Ivan Byekwaso had passed on surfaced different media platforms. His death news were announced by Bon van Deer, who is believed to be a close friend to him.

Many were heard sending condolences and supportive messages to the his family before it later turned out that the muscled man was still alive in German where he sought refugee after participating in the world championships in Hungary in June 2016.
Bon van Deer later made it clear in another post claiming the ‘Ivan Byekwaso’ who died was not the former Mr. Uganda.
“People I would like to clarify that it’s not Ivan Byekwaso the muscleman who has passed. The one who passed on shares similar names n hails from Masindi. He has been boxing trainer at the police training school in Masindi,” the post read
What Ivan Byekwaso says?
Ivan Byekwaso himself later shared a video on his Facebook rubbishing the death claims saying that he was enjoying life and planning to getting married soon to his elderly mzungu wife identified as Tara Caballero. This where he got a point to assume why some one decided to publish false information about him.
“Some people are not happy that I am dating a mzungu woman. It is their hatred that has caused them to publish falsehoods about me,” he said.
However, there are other reports that the Ex-Mr. Uganda just Faked his own death in order to Avoid Jail
According to close sources, Ivan Byekwaso is a wanted man in German for alleged crimes of theft and other cases. It is said that he connived with his lover to fake his death and throw the authorities hunting for him off track.
However, this was not the first time for Ivan Byekwaso to fake death over similar issues. It is believed that it is for this reason that he moves from city to city; having been in Stuttgart, Cologne and Frankfurt among others where he is a wanted man in all.
Ivan and Tara Caballero met in 2015 after the INBA Natural Universe World Cup in Texas where he was champion.
