Fresh info from Next Media indicate that Uncut Presenter Kayz Kawalya has been remanded to Kitalya prison with 2 others following their arrest today evening.
The development has been confirmed by NBS that their presenters have been remanded to Kitalya for 15 days, clarifying that the Magistrate did not give time to the lawyers to handle the matter.
Kayz, Bryan Kennedy Waako and Williams Makuliro are being charged with offensive communication and criminal libel.
This follows reports that faded singer better known as omulangira Ssuna opened a case on kayz for spreading rumours and propaganda on him i and this could be the reason for his arrest.
