KCCA FC Beats FUS Rabat 3 – 1

On his debut, Saddam Juma helped his new side KCCA FC register a victory over Moroccan side FUS Rabat by scoring the second goal for the Yellow Brigade to earn a 3 – 1 win at Star times Uganda Stadium, Lugogo this evening.

This is a vital win is that will be celebrated more than most others for the Ugandan side as it has kept their hopes alive ahead of qualifying to the quarter final play offs of the CAF Confederation CAF 2017 though the visitors came into this game in much need of a point to seal their first place in Group A table  but it wasn’t their lucky day.

Right from the start of this clash, Coach Mike Mutebi Boys had a very good pace using their usual tik tak but attacking strategy but the visitor’s back line looked to be much solidified till the last minutes of the first half when Poloto Julius was brought down in the forbidden area by Rabat’s Yassir Jarici to award a penalty to KCCA that was converted by Veteran Serunkuuma into a goal.

The Kasasiro boys came back in the second half with a greater pace as motivated by a goal lead and within 6 minutes of play, Sadam Juma forced a belter that increased the lead to 2 goals.

Isaac Muleme sealed the win in the 61st minute before Lamine Diakite giving the visitors a consolation in the 85th minute to end the game 3 – 1.
