Kenya dominates IAAF World Cross Country 2017

Scoops 12 medals: 4 gold medals, 5 silver and 3 bronzes

It was a great time for Kenyans yesterday evening Kololo Airstrip in the concluded IAAF World Cross country championships were Kenya topped the leader tables with 12 medals: 4 gold medals, 5 silver and 3 bronzes.

Kenya was followed by Ethiopia and Uganda as First and second runners up respectively.
Kenya scooped the fist gold medal in mixed relay with an eight-second victory over east African rivals Ethiopia followed by Cheptai’s gold medal in Senior women championships, Kamworor’s gold in Senior men among others summing up to 112 points to top the placing and medal tables of the championship.
