Kenyabuzz: Saga as a stolen cock ‘refuses’ to be sold

A lot of unbelievable things happen every day in the Kenyatta Land. Recently, Vihinga market traders were entertained by free drama as a stolen cock staged a show by refusing to be sold. All this happened at Luanda market in Vihiga County, when a man identified as William, a renowned chicken seller, attempted four times to sell a cockerel he had stolen from the neighboring Siaya County.

After successfully agreeing on the price to sell the cockerel with the willing buyer, it instead stuck onto the man, it couldn’t get off his hands!!
“He tried different buyers to get rid of this cockerel but un fortunately it couldn’t be separated from him.” Eye Witness

As you know people are very inquisitive, after all these awry surprises, they sought to question him on why the cockerel was behaving that way but he first admitted he didn’t know.

“When he tried it on the fourth buyer and it refused to be sold, we couldn’t resist asking more about what was happening,” a trader in the market said.

This attracted a grow of sizeable crowd to witness how the cockerel had suddenly become ‘william’s best friend’ and among these was the neighbour to the farmer whose cockerel had mysteriously disappeared two days earlier who came around and positively identified it.

The owner who was not far from the market, was called upon to rush to the scene to witness for himself what was happening and when he arrived, the cockerel gladly fought its way to where he was standing, despite it having been tied both legs as William was cornered and disciplined while trying to disappear into the Crowd.

Though the cockerel owner said he had cultivated a personal relationship with all of his animals to make it difficult for someone to rob him of his animals and go scot free, people concluded that he had used powerful ‘juju’.
