It’s all joy and happiness in the Kenyan Police after the success of the arrest of a top female gangstar, Ms Lavender who has been on their most wanted list.
According to our sources in the Kenyatta-land, the 31-year old and mother of one, Lavender Akinyi Ogilo was arrested by detectives from Kilimani Police station who raided her house in Ruaka on yesterday.
She has reportedly been terrorizing the residents for the last three years and escapes without arrest.
“Ms Lavender is dangerous and operates with armed gangsters who are still at large,” said Kilimani DCIO Fatuma Ali.
She was also arrested alongside with two men and women that the police officers found in her house to assist police with investigations. Th five are being held at the Kilimani Police Station.
Cases of female criminals have been rising steadily over the last three years. Lavender’s arrest comes months after two notorious female gangsters, Marsha Minaj and her friend Claire Njoki Mwaniki aka Clea Adi Vybz were shot dead in Eastlands.
About Ms Lavender and her Acts
According to Kenya’s Daily Standard website, the gang is believed to be behind series of burglaries in Lavington, Kileleshwa and Muthaiga areas and they were recently captured on CCTV cameras mugging residents of Muthaiga. The gang uses hired cars to commit crimes especially during weekends and public holidays
Ms Lavender is believed to be half Kenyan with one of her parents hailing from Neighboring Tanzania where she frequently sneaks into. She also has a hide out in Sirare as according to the police.
