Kenyan Simbas Outwits Rugby Cranes in Elgon Cup first Leg

Kenyan Rugby national team, the Kenyan Simbas has continued to show their dominance in the game over the neighbors, Rugby Cranes. The Rugby cranes has been in preparations for the Elgon cup first  Leg at Legends Rugby Grounds but the visitors, Kenya, took advantage of it by smashing Uganda 23 – 18 on saturday.

As always, Kenyan skipper Darwin Mukidza’s effort lifted his national team to take advantage of the battle for the cup they won last year who even converted a penalty to give his side an early 03-00 though Cranes ran riot late in the first half to lead 18-10 at the break.

The return leg is set to be held on June 24 at RFUEA grounds in Nairobi from which Kenya Simbas avoids defeat, will be declared Elgon Cup Winners 2017. The fixture will also double up as the Africa Rugby Gold Cup.
