Kikankane eyeing a win in the Kabalega Rally

Being in the fourth place of the National Rally Championship with 85 points behind leader Christakis Fitidis, Duncan Mubiru a.k.a Kikankane believes he still has a chance to put up a shock of scooping this years Motor Rally championship with in the only two events remaining starting with this Kabalega Rally.

He says he is sure of a win in the Kabalega Rally being strengthened by the good condition of his Subaru Impreza N14 with the help of team mate George Semakula.

“I have set myself for a win this weekend. We shall go flat-out from the start there will be no loosening up since only a win can put us closer to the title…. The car is all new again …. it will handle the challenge very well” Said Duncan Mubiru.

‘Kikankane’ bounced back to the title race following the great performance in the the pearl of Africa rally 2017 where he finished fourth among the nationals. He says he is sure of a win in the Kabalega Rally being strengthened by the good condition of his Car.

Christakis Fitidis, Ronald Sebuguzi and Kuku Ranjeet are the other drivers who are in line for the title contention in Hoima.
