Kansanga based Kampala International University campus has officially its students for a short break as they mourn for eight of of their colleagues whose lives demised in a nasty motor accident on Saturday 4th November 2017 along the Kampala-Gulu highway in Nakasongola along Kakooge town.
The one day closure has been confirmed by the University’s Public Relations Office to give a room for friends, course mates and relatives of the fallen students to go and give the final respects to their loved ones without having to miss lectures and tests.
The students have thanked the university administration for the sign of solidarity they have shown to stand with the families and friends of the deceased.
The fallen students gave back their souls to the creator as a team of 13 students belonging to the Banyarwanda Association of the university was traveling in a commuter taxi from a party when their taxi crushed into another commuter taxi that left six dead at spot.
May the souls of these students rest in eternal peace.
