Knee Injury Forces Express FC Captain Exit Active Football

Set to conctrate on business and family

Former TP Mazembe star and Express FC Captain Sulaiman Mutyaba has retired from active football due to prolonged knee injury. He started football career at St Mary’s Kitende where he also served as the school team captain at school’s championships, local and international competitions.

He crossed to the School’s top flight club Viper’s FC from where he was signed for professional football by El Merreikh and DR Congo’s number 1 club, TP Mazembe before returning to Vipers FC in the 2015/2016 season.

He has played for Express FC all of this season’s (2016/2017) first round before hanging up his boots at the kick-off of the second round of the season to concentrate on his business and family.
