The third edition of the Miss Victoria University beauty pageant took place over the weekend at Speke Resort Munyonyo with Robert Ssekamaanya a student of studying oil & gas and Achan Nhial, a nursing student winning the titles of Mr & Miss respectively.

Achan Nhial Bol a Sudanese emerged victorious beating five other girls including Marial Arol (SouthSudanese), Okitalunyi Tatiana Botuli (Congolese), Babafemi Bunmi Oluwatosin (Nigerian), Nduwamungu Jessica (Burundian), and Namuyingo Patricia (Ugandan) to replace Namuli Precious Priscilla, the outgoing Miss Victoria University.

On the other hand, Ssekamaanya Robert a Ugandan also beat 3 others including Travis Alor Bulabek (SouthSudanese), John Peterson (Ugandan) and David Joshua AbdulMalik (Nigerian) to become the first ever Mr Victoria University by the judges led by former Miss Uganda Leah Kalanguka.

The two winners were both awarded with cash and a complimentary stay for two at the classy Speke Resort Muyonyo. There were other notable awards of the night that included Miss and Mr congeniality, popularity, creative and culture.

The event’s sponsors included Speke Resort Munyonyo, Mpaka Records of Ykee Benda, International School of Modeling, Joram Model Management, Calabash Spa and Saloon, Yvonnetash, Awesome Beauty Parlour, and NBS TV.

The event that was sealed by an electrifying performance from Ykee Benda was also attended by Rajiv and Naiya Ruparelia.
