Latest in our transfer buzz is Liverpool FC’s forward Phillippe Coutinho about joining Laliga Side Barcelona at a record breaking fee of £142m.
According to the statement on Liverpool’s website, issued following statement regarding the future of Philippe Coutinho reads;
Liverpool confirms Coutinho exit
“Liverpool FC can confirm Philippe Coutinho will be leaving the club after a transfer agreement was reached with FC Barcelona, subject to medical and agreement of personal terms. The player now has permission to complete the usual formalities to conclude the transfer immediately.”
According to sources from both clubs, the Brazilian international is only waiting for medical test this monday. In his 5 years contract with Barcelona FC, Coutinho’s buy-out close fee is over £450m.
Arsenal Close on West Brom’s Jonny Evans
In other transfer buzz, Struggling Arsenal FC are closing in on the £25m signing of Jonny Evans from West Brom with an
agreement near. The Baggies defender has been wanted by the Gunners since the summer as Arsene Wenger looks to sure up his defence.
And claims are that Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Evans during the January transfer window.
Henry Onyekuru back to Everton
Everton summer signing Henry Onyekuru has returned to the Toffees from his loan at Anderlecht after suffering a knee injury. The Nigeria international bagged nine goals in 19 appearances but is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
He posted on Twitter: “Back at @Everton a little earlier than expected, I am so grateful for the facilities and the medical team working hard to get me back playing ASAP!”
