Two of history’s most successful clubs will meet in the Champions League final when Real Madrid face Liverpool in Kiev.
Liverpool seeks it’s sixth Champions league trophy after qualifying to the finals yesterday night for the first time since 2007 when they lost to AC Milan. Despite Jurgen Klopp’s boys loosing the second semifinal leg to AS Roma in Italy by 4 – 2, they qualified at a 7 – 6 advantage following the first leg ending 5 – 2 at Anifield, England in favor of the hosts.
The back-to-back defending champions and 12-time winners, La Liga side Real Madrid qualified past Germany side Bayern Munchen at an aggregate score of 4 – 3. Coach Zinadine Zidane’s lucky boys claimed a victory away at Alianz Arena in the first leg with 2 – 1 before making a stalemate of 2 – 2 at the Bernabeu two days back.
