7th November 2017 saw off Azam Uganda Premier League match day 9 where from the five matches that were played at different stadiums, two draws were registered, four clean sheets, and one away win. This is how it happened!
Police FC still has another week of no pressure on the top of the table with 17 points from 9 matches after second positioned Onduparaka FC failed to earn three points from new comers, Mbarara city. Police was home where it registered a 2 – 2 draw with Maroons FC by goals from Yasin Mugume and Ben Ocen for Police side and Pius Obuya and Solomon Walusimbi for the Maroons.
From Green Light Stadium, Onduparaka FC missed a chance of topping the league table after registering a goalless draw with Top Bet sponsored Mbarara City FC. The caterpillars remain second positioned with 16 points.
The Tax Collectors, URA FC, registered their first away win of the season after defeating the struggling Entebbe Side new comers, Masavu FC by 2 – 0. The visitors’ goals were scored by Bokota Lubama and danger man Henry Kisekka positioning them in the sixth position with 12 points.
From Champion Stadium Mwererwe, Japanese star Honda’s Bright Stars defeated BIDCO (visitors) with 1 – 0 where as from Kavumba Stadium, Hosts Soana FC claimed yet another crucial win after beating UPDF FC by 1 – 0.
