Military Police deployed ahead of Kyadondo by-election ballot Counting

As casting of Kyaddondo East MP by – election votes is wrapping up, security has been tightened, deploying heavily-armed military police personnel ahead of the ballot counting.

Thousands turned up to elect their Member of Parliament amid fears in the ruling party and opposition camp that Independent candidate Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine could sweep the polls.

Military Police officers are all over the place patrolling the area and several demonstrators have since been detained.
